Clay County Children’s Services Fund was created in 2017 following voter approval of a designated one-quarter of a cent sales tax pursuant to RSMo 67.1775 and RSMo 210.861. A 9-member board of directors appointed by the Clay County Commission oversees the Fund and its operations.
The Fund provides grants to community-based & school-based services that protect the mental health and well-being of children, youth and families in Clay County. Service categories include mental health services, prevention services, and intervention services. Specific services funded can be found listed inRSMo 210.861.
